Tirzepatide questions
How many units is 2.5 mg of tirzepatide?
It depends on the vial. A 10 mg vial reconstituted with 1 mL is 10 mg/mL, so 2.5 mg is 25 units on a U-100 syringe and 5 mg is 50 units. A 10 mg vial with 2 mL is 5 mg/mL, so 2.5 mg becomes 50 units. Always run the math for your own vial.
Tirzepatide dosage chart by week?
Label schedule: 2.5 mg for weeks 1 to 4, 5 mg for weeks 5 to 8, then optional 2.5 mg steps every 4 or more weeks through 7.5, 10, 12.5 and 15 mg. You do not have to climb; 5, 10 and 15 mg are all approved maintenance doses. Many people hold at 5 mg or 7.5 mg as long as weight keeps moving.
How much bacteriostatic water for a 10 mg vial of Tirzepatide?
Any volume the vial holds. 10 mg in 1 mL is 10 mg/mL, in 2 mL is 5 mg/mL and in 3 mL is 3.333 mg/mL. The water changes the units per dose, not the amount of peptide.
