GHRP-6 calculator
GHRP-6 is the original growth hormone releasing peptide, shown in 1990 to release GH in healthy men at IV doses of 0.1 to 1 mcg/kg with no adverse effects in that study. It is also the hungriest of the family because it hits the ghrelin receptor hard.

About the GHRP-6 math
GHRP-6 is a synthetic six-amino-acid peptide, sold in 5 mg and 10 mg vials. The example draw is 250 mcg, chosen because it lands on a half unit at some concentrations, which is the main thing to avoid when picking a solvent volume. A 5 mg vial with 1 mL of bacteriostatic water is 5 mg/mL, or 5,000 mcg/mL. A 250 mcg draw is 0.05 mL, or 5 units on a U-100 syringe, and 5,000 divided by 250 is 20 draws per vial. A 10 mg vial with 1 mL is 10,000 mcg/mL, where 250 mcg is 0.025 mL, or 2.5 units, a mark no U-100 barrel shows. Use 2 mL in the 10 mg vial instead: 5,000 mcg/mL, 5 units, and 40 draws. The same trap appears at 5 mg in 2.5 mL, which is 2,000 mcg/mL and puts 250 mcg at 12.5 units, while 5 mg in 2 mL is 2,500 mcg/mL and puts it at an even 10 units. The calculator marks any draw that falls between units so the volume can be changed.
GHRP-6 questions
How much GHRP-6 should I take?
The 1990 study used 0.1 to 1 mcg/kg IV, up to about 70 mcg for a 70 kg adult. Users commonly inject 100 to 300 mcg two to three times daily, fasted. On a 5 mg vial in 2.5 mL, 100 mcg is 5 units.
Does GHRP-6 increase appetite?
Strongly. It is a ghrelin mimic and most users report intense hunger 15 to 30 minutes after a shot. People bulking time it before meals; people cutting pick ipamorelin instead.
How many units is 250 mcg of GHRP-6 at 10 mg in 2 mL?
10 mg divided by 2 mL is 5 mg/mL, or 5,000 mcg/mL. 250 mcg divided by 5,000 mcg/mL is 0.05 mL, which is 5 units on a U-100 syringe. The vial holds 40 such draws.
How much bacteriostatic water for a 5 mg vial of GHRP-6?
Any volume the vial holds. 1 mL gives 5 mg/mL, 2 mL gives 2.5 mg/mL and 3 mL gives 1.67 mg/mL (rounded). A 250 mcg draw is 5 units, 10 units or 15 units at those three concentrations.
How many 500 mcg draws are in a 10 mg vial of GHRP-6?
10 mg is 10,000 mcg, and 10,000 divided by 500 is 20 draws. With 2 mL of solvent (5,000 mcg/mL) each 500 mcg draw is 0.1 mL, or 10 units.
