Ipamorelin dosage

Ipamorelin is a 5 amino acid GH secretagogue described in 1998 as the first one that releases growth hormone without much cortisol or prolactin. It was never approved and never finished late-stage trials. Users commonly inject 200 to 300 mcg under the skin once or twice daily, fasted, most often at bedtime, for 8 to 12 weeks, and usually pair it with CJC-1295 without DAC. Human dosing is not established.

Ipamorelin dose to units chart

5 mg vial + 2 mL bacteriostatic water = 2.5 mg/mL (25 mcg per unit on a U-100 insulin syringe). 5 mg + 2 mL = 2.5 mg/mL, so 250 mcg = 0.1 mL = 10 units; 200 mcg = 8 units, 300 mcg = 12 units. A 10 mg vial with 4 mL gives the same numbers.

Side effects

Before you start. Human dosing is not established; the ranges are user protocols. Ipamorelin has only early-phase human data, and the FDA has recommended against including it in compounded drugs. Raising growth hormone raises IGF-1, so people with active cancer or a cancer history, and anyone with diabetes, should be careful. Not medical advice; start low and talk to a clinician.

Ipamorelin dosage questions

How much ipamorelin should I take?

There is no established human dose. The commonly reported range is 200 to 300 mcg under the skin once or twice daily, fasted, with the bedtime dose considered the most important. On a 5 mg vial in 2 mL that is 8 to 12 units.

How many units of ipamorelin is 200 mcg?

With 5 mg in 2 mL you have 2500 mcg per mL, so 200 mcg is 0.08 mL, which is 8 units on a U-100 syringe. 250 mcg is 10 units. If you used 1 mL of water, halve those.

When should I take ipamorelin?

Fasted, right before bed, is the commonly reported timing because the natural GH pulse happens in early sleep and food blunts the response. If you take a second dose, morning fasted or after training is typical. Keep 1 to 2 hours between food and the shot.

Ipamorelin vs sermorelin, what is the difference?

Sermorelin is a GHRH analog that tells the pituitary to make a pulse; ipamorelin is a ghrelin mimic that amplifies it through a different receptor. That is why people stack ipamorelin with CJC-1295 no DAC or sermorelin rather than choosing. Doses are similar, 200 to 300 mcg.
