GHRP-2 dosage
GHRP-2 is a 6 amino acid GH secretagogue, approved in Japan as a diagnostic injection and never approved as a treatment. Human studies used about 1 mcg/kg and found it releases GH as strongly as hexarelin with less cortisol and prolactin, though not none. Users commonly inject 100 to 300 mcg under the skin two to three times daily, fasted, for 8 to 12 weeks, usually with CJC-1295 no DAC. It makes most people hungry.
Basis: published study (Arvat et al., Peptides 1997; Bowers, GHRP review 1996). about 70 mcg for a 70 kg adult; 100 mcg IV is the Japanese diagnostic dose

Dose ranges by source
| Range | Per | Basis | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 mcg/kg | single dose | published study (Arvat et al., Peptides 1997; Bowers, GHRP review 1996) | about 70 mcg for a 70 kg adult; 100 mcg IV is the Japanese diagnostic dose |
| 100 mcg to 300 mcg | dose, 2 to 3 times daily | commonly reported | fasted; 100 mcg is often called the saturation dose, with little extra GH above it |
Titration schedule
Step up on this schedule; stay a step longer if side effects are rough.
| Weeks | Dose |
|---|---|
| 1 | 100 mcg at bedtime |
| 2-12 | 100 to 300 mcg, 2 to 3 times daily |
GHRP-2 dose to units chart
5 mg vial + 2.5 mL bacteriostatic water = 2 mg/mL (20 mcg per unit on a U-100 insulin syringe). 5 mg + 2.5 mL = 2 mg/mL, so 100 mcg = 0.05 mL = 5 units; 200 mcg = 10 units, 300 mcg = 15 units. A 10 mg vial with 5 mL gives the same 2 mg/mL.
| Dose | mL | Units (U-100) | Doses per vial |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 mcg | 0.0005 | 0.05 | 5000 |

GHRP-2 dosage questions
How much GHRP-2 should I take?
Human studies used about 1 mcg/kg, roughly 70 to 100 mcg, as a single dose. Users commonly inject 100 to 300 mcg two to three times daily, fasted. On a 5 mg vial in 2.5 mL, 100 mcg is 5 units.
GHRP-2 vs GHRP-6?
Both release GH at about 1 mcg/kg; GHRP-2 is slightly stronger per dose and causes less hunger, GHRP-6 causes strong hunger and is used by people who want to eat more. Both nudge cortisol and prolactin. Doses are the same, 100 to 300 mcg.
Does GHRP-2 make you hungry?
Yes, it works on the ghrelin receptor, and a subcutaneous infusion study found it increased food intake in healthy men. Users report less hunger than with GHRP-6 but more than with ipamorelin. Bedtime dosing avoids the problem.
